Stroud-based spatial experience designers Loss><Gain (David Sheppard and John Best) have collaborated with 25-plus musicians to write and re-work music as part of a deep-listening trip from the earliest murmurings of life in the primoridial ooze, via here and now and on to a sublime imagined future, all the time looking at the same Moon in the sky.

David Sheppard and John Best
DAVID SHEPPARD
David Sheppard is a sound designer who has collaborated on a diverse range of projects across the world. He works with many leading orchestras and ensembles as well as rock and pop musicians, visual artists, dance and film creatives. He collaborates closely with composers on helping them realise their ideas but he is also known as a sound installation artist and electronics performer in his own right.
JOHN BEST
JB has spent a career in music as manager, publicist, journalist, events organiser, and indie label boss, working with Sigur Rós, The Verve, Pulp, Pixies, Suede, Cocteau Twins, Elastica, Morrissey and many more.
