Gareth Jones is an eminent UK synthesist and producer. He's made albums with Depeche Mode, Erasure, Wire, Interpol, Grizzly Bear, Yann Tiersen, Apparat, John Foxx and others. He continues to play as half of the duo Sunroof, a long-term collaboration with with Mute Records founder Daniel Miller. William J. Stokes is a UK producer and musician and writer. As a member of trio Voka Gentle (...hard to classify and even harder not to love -Uncut) he has made two critically acclaimed albums and has collaborated with Wayne Coyne, Panda Bear, Sonic Boom and more. The two met when Gareth was a producer on early Voka Gentle sessions, and in that crucible a musical friendship was formed.

As a duo, these artists from different generations explore an experimental sound world together, presenting a dialogue between the guitar and modular synthesiser, with compositions and soundscapes suspended between noise, lush ambience, melody and rhythm. Weaving electronic sounds, samples, vocals and electric guitar, the duo’s music combines compositional structure with improvised and spontaneous passages emerging in unique performances. Performing facing one another, Jones and Stokes deliver an immersive sonic experience not to be missed.
